Quality, health, safety and environment (QHMS) policy

The long-term business success of LMI AS is dependent on our ability to improve the quality of services and products while protecting people and the environment. Human health, operational safety, environmental protection, quality improvement and community goodwill shall be emphasized. This commitment is in the interest of our customers, employees and contractors, shareholders and the community in which we live and work. LMI AS requires active commitment and responsibility for QHMS from employees and contracted personnel. Line management has a leadership role in communicating and implementing and ensuring compliance with the QHMS policy and standards.

  • Protect, and strive to improve, the health, safety and environment of our employees at all times.

  • Eliminate quality deviations and HSE accidents.

  • Continuously meet specified customer requirements and ensure satisfied customers.

  • Set Quality & HSE goals, measure results, assess and continuously improve processes, services and product quality - through the use of effective management systems.

  • Plan to respond and recover from any crisis and disruption to our operations.

  • Minimize our impact on the environment by preventing pollution, reducing the use of natural resources and emissions, and reducing and recycling waste.

  • Contribute our technical expertise to all HSE aspects in the design and engineering of services and products.

  • Communicate openly with shareholders and ensure understanding of our QHMS policies, standards, programs and performance. Reward outstanding QHMS performance.

  • Improve our performance in areas that are relevant to our shareholders and of global concern, and on which we can have an impact, as well as sharing our knowledge of successful QHMS programs and initiatives.

This policy will be reviewed at regular intervals to ensure that it remains valid. The commitments listed here are in addition to the basic commitment to comply with Schlumberger standards, and in line with applicable laws and regulations in the areas in which we operate. This is important to our business success as it enables us to systematically minimize losses and increase shareholder value.
